Hubitat makes the Hubitat Elevation hub, a home automation controller that runs rules and device logic locally rather than in the cloud. The hub includes Zigbee and Z-Wave radios, supports Matter and LAN devices, and exposes a web dashboard, a rule engine and Groovy-based driver development for advanced users. It is popular with hobbyists who want automations to keep working when the internet connection drops.
Focus: smart home hubs, local automation.
