Syntiant

Low-power neural decision processors for always-on voice, audio and sensor workloads

Syntiant builds neural decision processors that run always-on machine learning on batteries. The NDP series handles wake words, speaker identification, acoustic event detection and sensor fusion inside earbuds, smart speakers, wearables and remote controls while drawing microwatts. The company also licenses an edge AI software stack that packages trained models for its chips and for third-party microcontrollers, and after acquiring the Knowles consumer MEMS microphone business it sells microphones as well.
