Silicon Labs focuses on wireless system-on-chips and modules for low-power IoT devices. Its EFR32 Series 2 and Series 3 chips integrate Arm cores with Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, Wi-SUN, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi and proprietary Sub-GHz radios, and ship with the Simplicity Studio tools and protocol stacks. Smart home, smart metering, lighting and commercial building vendors use its parts, and Silicon Labs acquired the Z-Wave business from Sigma Designs in 2018.
