Moonshine AI

Formerly Useful Sensors, maker of on-device speech models and small AI modules

Moonshine AI, previously known as Useful Sensors, develops speech recognition models and small hardware modules that run entirely on the device. Its Moonshine speech-to-text models are designed for low latency on microcontrollers and single-board computers, and earlier products such as the Person Sensor and AI in a Box offered presence detection and voice interaction without cloud connections. The company publishes much of its work as open source.

Focus: speech models, tiny ai modules.
