ASR Microelectronics is a fabless designer of cellular baseband and wireless connectivity chips. Its ASR1600 series of LTE Cat.1 bis chips is widely used in Chinese modules for trackers, shared bicycles, point-of-sale terminals and meters, and the company also supplies Cat.4, NB-IoT, 5G and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combo silicon. ASR was founded in 2015 and took over Marvell’s mobile communication business in 2017.
